How To Use Position Tables

The Position Frequency Tables can help you decide upon your six number combination(s). Historical draw statistics demonstrate numbers with preferences for certain positions.

For instance, most winning number combinations start with numbers ranging from 1 to 13. Other possibilities are 14 to 23 with very few winning number combinations beginning with numbers above 23.

Regarding your second number of your six number combination, you might want to choose numbers that fall between 3 and 23. Numbers 28 and above have rarely been drawn in second position.

For your third number position, try numbers 10 to 33.

For the fourth number position, numbers 18 to 40 appear most often.

For the fifth number position, try numbers 27 to 46.

For the sixth number position, most winning combinations end with numbers ranging from 38 to 49.

The Tables provide a visual guide to these positions; however, you want to watch out for chameleon numbers. These are numbers that prefer two positions. For instance, since 1982 the numbers 8 and 11 have been drawn almost equally between first and second position while the number 34 has a difficult time making up its mind whether it wants to be in 4th or 5th position.
